Christina Ann Princely 2007
Who is Christina Princely?
Christina Ann Princely founded THE GREAT SPIRIT CENTER in Redondo
Beach, California in 1992. At that time, she was a single mom and had
been since 1980 when a divorce changed the lifestyle of Christina Ann
and her son. It was devastating for her son not to have a dad any
longer, as he moved out of state. She devoted her life to raising her
son to be a balanced young man. She was his mother, teacher, and taxi
to every lesson available from computers to golf, to magic and
music. She experienced the trials and tribulations, the joys and the
hurts that single parents must go through alone trying to be "both
parents and many times over compensate" to keep the young adolescent
happy and eager to learn.
It was in October 1992, that Christina was watching television and saw
single parents living in parks and on the sidewalks of downtown Los
Angeles and crying because they didn't have an apartment. There was a
mom and her little daughter actually living in a large refrigerator box
downtown and she could not send her daughter to school. They didn't
have a place to bathe, or place to hang clothes, if they had them. It
was then that Christina said "I have to do something about this". and
she did!
Without experience, but a heart to help, she went downtown to the Court
House and asked how to file for a Non Profit Corporation. She took the
papers and filled the out herself. Then she explained that she would
need help for the corporation fee, because it was not inexpensive. The
employees reduced the filing fee, because they were so grateful that
someone would begin to help those single parents with dependent
children who were needing assistance.
Then next morning, as she turned on the television, a prominent Costa
Mesa attorney, said over a talk show "if anyone is opening a charity, I
will give you 45 minutes to check your papers at no charge". Christina
immediately called Mr. Norm Juggert and he said, "sure, bring the
papers and come to my office". She did and he was amazed she had done
them all correctly. Then he said, "Where is your 501 C (3)"? Christina
replied, "Do I need that also?" He said, "Yes, if you want to get
contributions and donations". So, she told him, "Ok, I will go and get
it". He said, "I don't think it will be that easy, it took my company
16 months to get it". Christina replied, "No, I have to have it this
week. Those mom's are sleeping in boxes and the children don't have a
place to bathe or eat, so I must get it now". He gave Christina a stack
of papers and told her "fill them out the best you can and bring them
back to me and I will check them". Christina filled them out, took them
to the IRS and then called Mr. Juggert and told him "Mr. Juggert, I
have my 501 C (3)” He said NO", it is impossible. She replied,
"Not when you work for God". And she really had been given the 501 C
(3), which she took to his office to show him the letter of
determination. He was amazed. The Great Spirit Center had come to life
and the spirit of love and compassion began Spreading over Los Angeles.
The next day, her mission began and she has helped to get apartment
rent reduced, furniture, house wares, clothing, food, necessities for
basic living for many clients. She put the parent in school, and then
helped them find employment, as well as childcare.
Christina and her Vice President has provided food for holidays for
many families all over Los Angeles and suburban areas. She has been on
many of the television news and talk shows to be able to reach those,
who know people that need assistance.
In 1993, Christina submitted a Bill Proposal to change the Welfare Laws
through the office of Walter Tucker III in Compton California. She
asked the former President Bill Clinton for help and guidance, but he
did not respond. However, Hillary Clinton did send her a nice personal
note telling her "your ideas and suggestions will be carefully
considered as Bill begins to implement his agenda for change in
America". (See Letter in website.)
The Great Spirit Center has a copied righted, proven program that is a
total life experience and all who qualify and go through the program
will be a person groomed to be able to face life and contribute to
society. The Great Spirit Center Program IS NOT ANOTHER WELFARE
PROGRAM! We only assist those single parents who are willing to help
themselves and the program is a two-year program.
With years of experience, Christina Ann Princely is now bringing a
chapter of THE GREAT SPIRIT CENTER to Las Vegas Nevada. She wants to
put this program in Arizona and Texas. To do this, she needs the help
of everyone who wants to see poverty cured. Her motto for The Great
Spirit Center is "POVERTY IS A SOCIAL DISEASE THAT CAN BE CURED" when
we work together!
